The integrated Strategy Project

At the Full-time MBA Program, we source around 10 Strategy Projects each year. Projects are undertaken by a group of 4 students between April and August. The project has to be of significant strategic value to the company in order to deliver on the following project phases:

  • Initial Analysis
  • Industry Analysis
  • Company Analysis
  • Issue Analysis
  • Final Recommendations

The company commits to supplying data for the project phases and to meet with the group throughout the project. At the end of the project, the results are presented to the relevant management team and/or board at the company.

Hosting a Strategy Project

The Strategy Projects are often hosted by MBA alumni. One of the great benefits of alumni hosting a Strategy Project is that they are familiar with the process of the project and can provide relevant sparring and a good project scope. Alumni enjoy engaging with MBA students on the Strategy Project; some take a more mentoring approach to the role of hosting the project while others maintain the role of a potential client.
