Welcome Full-time MBA Class of 2017!

We are thrilled to be welcoming our Full-time MBA Class of 2017 to CBS. As always, the class is very diverse with 20 nationalities among 35 students adding a new country, Hong Kong to the list. Their average age is 30 with an average of 7 years work experience.

"“I chose the Copenhagen MBA since I wanted access to opportunities in Scandinavia. Nordic countries have a high emphasis on work-life balance and at this stage of my career, with a young family, working 16 hour-days in consulting is no longer feasible,” said South African MBA candidate Khanya Vokwana.

“I am particularly looking forward to getting to know the rest of the team, people who are undoubtedly going to be my lifelong friends, mentors and coaches and will help me develop the necessary skills to become an impactful leader. And the cherry on top is that I get to have twenty different countries and cultures with me on this journey. What more can I ask for?”

The class brings a wide variety of experience from different sectors and professions, and a quick glance over the class profiles reveals interesting backgrounds such as medicine, psychology, translation, pharmacology, art history and of course the more traditional engineering, finance and business backgrounds.

During the Introduction Week, the newly formed group got to know each other through activities and exercises, ranging from building Lego models to leadership development and cocktail mixers. They have since delved into their books and are fully engaged in discussing case studies, meeting their A-Board companies, and in making CBS feel like home. We look forward to connecting students with alumni through the Leadership Mentor Program and the Careers Mentor Program in the coming months.

We wish them a great start to the MBA and look forward to meeting them at future alumni events.
