From Data to Profits: Ingredients for Successful Data-Driven Business Development
About the event
Our world is full of data – and the amount of data increases. Data offers lots of business opportunities – and many companies do work towards a data-driven future. Yet, profitable business models are rare and the transition towards profitable data-driven business is challenging. Based on the experience from the applied research project “From Big Data to Big Business” which is funded by Industriens Fond, this event will introduce the data-driven capability map and the data-strategy map – both designed for self-assessment and strategy development. There is no doubt that all firms are affected by data – but not all firms need to transform towards data-driven businesses.
This session offers tools and insights to determine the relevance of data for your organization and your status quo.
We will cover the following key questions:
- Why do we have a data-driven strategy? Why would we need one?
- Which capabilities for data-driven business development do we have? Which ones are we missing?
- Do we understand the data needs of our customers? Do we need to segment our customers in a new way?
Every organization needs to discuss the impact of data on its business. This session gives you the tools to drive such discussions.
